Dunorlan Park

About this park

Dunorlan Park offers a delightful escape for you and your dog, boasting a rich Victorian heritage with beautifully laid-out gardens, sprawling meadows, and stunning views across the lake to the picturesque Weald. It's a truly elegant space where history meets nature, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a more energetic outing with your furry friend. While this park welcomes dogs, it's important to be aware of the specific rules in place. As of May 2022, a Public Space Protection Order requires dogs to be kept on a lead at all times in the formal areas of the park. This includes both car parks, the path around the lake, the playground, café terrace, cascade garden, and the main avenue. However, for those pups who love to stretch their legs, the meadow areas, Events Field, and Victoria Cross Grove are designated off-lead zones, provided they remain under control. Please ensure you check the provided maps to familiarise yourself with these areas. Parking is convenient with facilities available at both the Pembury Road (A264) and Hall’s Hole Road entrances, including dedicated spaces for blue badge holders. The park is also well-equipped with amenities, featuring a lovely café for a cuppa and a treat, and public toilets. Dunorlan Park promises a truly brilliant day out for both you and your canine companion, combining natural beauty with historical charm.
