Gibraltar Point

About this park

Gibraltar Point offers a wonderful dog-walking experience along an unspoilt stretch of coastline in Skegness. You and your furry friend can enjoy impressive views and discover the diverse wildlife that calls this nature reserve home. It's truly a place that changes with the seasons, offering something new each time you visit. While Fido is welcome, please be aware there are strict rules about dogs on leads. They must be kept on a short lead at all times, including on the beach and foreshore between September and March. From 1st April to 1st September, dogs are not permitted on the beach or foreshore at all. This is to protect the local wildlife and grazing livestock present on the reserve. There's a lovely Visitor Centre with a cafe where you can grab a bite; dogs are allowed on the outside veranda, but only guide dogs and assistance dogs can enter the building. The reserve boasts accessible paths, making it suitable for buggies and wheelchairs, and there are plenty of facilities including a cafe, shop, and toilets. Parking is available, though please note the machines are cash only and the car park closes at dusk. The Visitor Centre and cafe have seasonal opening hours, so it's always worth checking before you go, especially during bad weather as they might close early.
