Starting in the charming, historical village of New Lanark, this walk takes you along the final section of the Clyde Walkway, offering a delightful woodland adventure with breathtaking views of the waterfalls. This 3.7-mile out-and-back trail introduces you to the majestic Bonnington Linn, Corra Linn, Dundaff Linn, and Stonebyres Linn. Be prepared for some steep hilly sections and numerous steps, adding a bit of a workout for both you and your furry friend. There's even a unique play park in New Lanark village if you have little ones! Your four-legged companions are welcome to join you on this scenic route, but please be mindful of the cliffs and keep them under close control. The path is generally well-maintained, with boardwalks and viewpoints to stop and admire the dramatic scenery. It's a fantastic day out for nature lovers and their canine pals. Parking is conveniently available at the New Lanark World Heritage Site (ML11 9DB). The closest train station is in Lanark, with a bus service connecting to New Lanark. There are also picnic areas and a cafe near the start of the walk in New Lanark, perfect for a pre-walk coffee or a post-walk treat.
