Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum, nestled near Leominster in Herefordshire, offers a fantastic day out for you and your four-legged friend. This beautiful spot boasts 123 acres of ancient native woodland, designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, alongside a diverse 47-acre arboretum featuring over 1,200 rare and exotic trees from across the globe. You'll be treated to stunning views, especially during spring blossom and autumn colours. When exploring the park, please keep your canine companion on a lead in the main visitor areas and within the woodland. However, in the arboretum, dogs are welcome to enjoy a bit more freedom off-lead, provided they are kept under close control. There are numerous paths, including waymarked trails of varying lengths, some with easy access compact stone surfaces suitable for all. Parking is available in a pay-and-display car park, costing up to £6 for a full day. You'll find excellent facilities on site, including a visitor centre, toilets, a shop, and a café for refreshments after your walk. There's also a picnic area, an outdoor play area for the little ones, and even WiFi! Queenswood truly offers something for everyone, making it a perfect destination for a leisurely stroll or a more adventurous ramble with your dog.
