About this park
Langley Park, nestled in Buckinghamshire, is a true hidden gem for dog walkers and nature lovers alike. This historic park boasts stunning landscapes, from the vibrant Rhododendron collection in the Temple Gardens, bursting with colour from April to June and offering views towards Windsor Castle, to the ancient veteran Oak and Chestnut trees in Kings Wood. These venerable trees, some planted by Capability Brown himself, provide vital habitats for a diverse range of wildlife, making every walk an opportunity for discovery. Venture through the well-maintained paths, which are mostly stony with occasional loose sections, providing a good surface for paws. While most main paths are accessible, some smaller woodland trails might be a bit challenging for those with limited mobility. Dogs are generally welcome to explore the park's beautiful grounds, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a more energetic ramble. Do keep an eye out for on-site signage regarding specific dog rules, especially in sensitive ecological areas or around the play area. Parking is convenient with a pay-and-display car park that opens daily at 8:15 am, though closing times vary seasonally, so do check ahead. Blue Badge holders and motorcycles can park for free. There's a 2-metre height restriction at the car park entrance. For your comfort, excellent facilities include a fantastic tea room run by San Remo Catering, offering hot and cold snacks, cakes, and ice cream, with both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the gardens. Public toilets, including accessible facilities and baby changing, are located right by the tea room. While there isn't a specific dog wash or fenced area, the extensive trails and natural setting provide ample space for your furry friend to enjoy.
