Robinswood Hill Country Park

About this park
Robinswood Hill Country Park offers a wonderful escape on the outskirts of Gloucester, boasting 100 hectares of diverse landscapes. Your four-legged friends are more than welcome to explore the many way-marked paths that wind through traditional meadows, peaceful woodlands, and charming orchards. As you stroll, take in the breathtaking views across the Severn Vale, the ancient Forest of Dean, and the rolling Cotswolds – a truly picturesque backdrop for your dog's daily walkies! You'll find this a fantastic spot for a good stretch with your canine companion, with plenty of open space and varied terrain to keep things interesting. While dogs are warmly welcomed, please be mindful that cycles and motorised vehicles are not permitted on the paths to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment of the natural environment. Keep an eye out for wildlife, as the park is brimming with fascinating creatures, and help us keep them safe by keeping dogs under control. Parking is conveniently located at the main entrance on Reservoir Road (GL4 6SX), where you'll also find public toilets. If you fancy a cuppa or a bite to eat after your walk, there's a lovely cafe on site, which is part of the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust headquarters. There are also plenty of benches dotted around for a rest, and waste bins are available to help keep the park tidy. Enjoy your visit to this Green Flag Award-winning country park!
