Giant's Causeway Coastal Path
Bushmills, County Antrim, BT57 8SU
About this park
Lace up your boots and grab your lead, because the Giant's Causeway Coastal Path offers a truly breathtaking adventure for you and your canine companion! Imagine strolling past the iconic basalt columns, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with the fresh sea air invigorating your senses. The views are simply spectacular, with dramatic cliffs meeting the wild Atlantic Ocean, creating a backdrop that photos barely do justice. While exploring this geological wonder, please remember that dogs are warmly welcomed in all areas of the Visitor Centre and throughout the World Heritage Site, but they must be kept on a lead at all times. This is for the safety of your furry friend, other visitors, and the delicate natural environment. You can even bring your well-behaved pup on the guided tours if you fancy learning more about the legends and geology of this incredible place. Parking is available, though it's worth noting that the main car park by the Visitor Centre is primarily for National Trust members and those with a Visitor Experience ticket. However, there's a good alternative at Innisfree Farm (60 Causeway Road), which costs £12 per vehicle and can be paid via the JustPark app (National Trust members park free with their membership number). Inside the Visitor Centre, you'll find a cafe perfect for a cuppa and a snack, and accessible toilet facilities, including Changing Places. Exterior toilets are also available near the Causeway Hotel for those not visiting the Visitor Centre. So, come and experience the magic of the Giant's Causeway – it’s a paw-some day out!
