Langdon Hills Country Park, nestled on a picturesque hilly ridge, offers an absolutely cracking day out for you and your furry friend! Spanning 400 acres, this Green Flag Award-winning park boasts absolutely breathtaking panoramic views across the Thames Estuary and all the way to London. It's a real treat for the senses, with ancient woodlands that have been around since prehistoric times, vibrant flower-rich grassland meadows, and cosy areas of dense scrubland for sniffing out all sorts of interesting smells. There's a brilliant network of footpaths, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a more energetic wander with your doggo. You'll find plenty of picnic areas too, ideal for a stop-off with a cuppa and some treats. Dogs are very welcome throughout the park, and with such varied terrain, there's always something new to explore. Just remember to keep them under control, especially around wildlife – we want to keep everyone safe and happy! Parking is a doddle with two main car parks: one at One Tree Hill (SS17 9NH) and another at Westley Heights (SS16 6HU). These spots are excellent starting points for your adventures. While there isn't a dedicated dog wash, the expansive trails and natural beauty more than make up for it.
