Dogs on short leads are also permitted in the farmyard, the bookshop, on the front drive, within the estate barn, and in the Muddy Boots café. Only assistance dogs are allowed inside the house, garden, and east wing, ensuring the preservation of these unique historical areas. For visitor convenience, the estate offers ample parking in four car parks (£5 for non-members), two welcoming cafés (Stables and Muddy Boots), and numerous toilet facilities, including accessible and Changing Places toilets. Picnic areas with benches are scattered throughout, providing perfect spots for a rest during your adventure. Additionally, cycle parking and a charming second-hand bookshop are available, making it a well-equipped destination for a full day out.
